Frequently asked questions
How PROMPT scores are built, where the data comes from, and why builders can never pay to change a rating.
Yes. Searching and every project's base score are free, permanently. Premium adds a full detailed report, unlimited saved projects, and quarterly analyst calls.
State RERA portals, MCA company filings, and NCLT insolvency orders — all public record. We never use builder-submitted marketing material.
No. There is no way for a builder to pay for placement, remove a red flag, or influence a score. This is a fixed rule, not a setting.
Projects are re-checked as new filings appear at the source — most changes reflect within days of a new RERA or MCA filing.
A red flag is a specific, sourced fact from the official record — like a builder in NCLT insolvency, or a lapsed registration — shown in plain language with a link to the source filing.
We only publish what we can verify from official records, and reliable price data isn't part of them yet. For prices, talk to the builder or a broker — then come back here to check whether the project deserves your money.
Send us the RERA number at research@prompt.example and we will add it to the scoring queue. Until it is rated, check the registration status directly on your state's RERA portal.
